"I wanted a creative process that can be done curled up on the couch late in the evening. The audaciously beautiful work of Mendocino county quilter, Laura Fogg, inspired me to start collaging fabric in order to make the pictures I was accustomed to painting. It is like having a whole new world open up for me."
